We are taking all precautions because we care about our patients and staff.
If you have damaged, worn, or aesthetically compromised teeth, you may benefit from dental crowns. Dr. Brian J. Polidori will place these tooth-shaped caps directly on top of your damaged teeth. At Colorado Premier Dental, we provide restorations that will enhance your appearance, as well as your dental function. We have an in-office CEREC® machine for convenient same-day crowns, and we also work with a lab that will match the natural shade of your teeth at no additional cost.

Dental crowns are one of the most common forms of restorative dental treatment. Dr. Polidori may recommend crowns for one of several reasons. Their functions include:
To place your customized restoration, Dr. Polidori will first reshape the tooth that is going to be treated. Working conservatively, he will remove a small amount of dental material to create a strong base for your restoration. Then he will take physical or digital impressions of your tooth. Your crown will be crafted based on these measurements. When the restoration is finished, Dr. Polidori will affix it to your tooth with specialized dental cement. In most cases, you will enjoy immediately restored function.
In many cases, Dr. Polidori will send your impressions to an offsite lab, where ceramists will carefully craft your crown to match your smile. However, we also offer same-day crowns using CEREC® in-office milling technology. Dr. Polidori will take pictures of your teeth using 3-D imaging. The CEREC® system will then generate a model of your mouth. Dr. Polidori can display this image on a chairside computer, and he can manipulate it to create a near-perfect restoration. Then he will send the images to an office-based milling machine. The machine will fabricate your crown in just a few minutes. Dr. Polidori can attach your restoration during that same appointment.
Whether you choose a traditional or same-day crown, Dr. Polidori and his team will make sure your restoration blends seamlessly with your smile. Our partner dental lab uses materials in a wide range of colors, and we will chose the shade that matches your natural teeth. If you need custom shading, our lab will provide this service free of charge. CEREC® crowns are made from a solid block of porcelain. Like lab restorations, the material will be color-matched to your smile. Porcelain also offers a lifelike sparkle that is virtually identical to natural enamel.
Do not let dental damage impair your smile and oral function. Schedule an appointment at Colorado Premier Dental today and find out how crowns can benefit you.
